Submit Poster

Who can submit a poster?

Faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduate students, and research staff may submit a poster.

Formatting Guidelines

Poster Board Dimensions

Poster boards are 48"W x 36"H.

Grid plan

Arrange materials in columns rather than rows - this format is easier to read.

Prepare a banner for the top indicating the abstract title, author(s), and affiliation(s). Use lettering at least 1" high.

Design figures for viewing from a distance and use clear, visible graphics and large type. Figures should illustrate no more than one or two major points.

Use large type in short, separated paragraphs with unjustified margins. Numbered or bulleted lists are effective ways to convey a series of points. Do not set entire paragraphs in uppercase (all capitals) or boldface type.

Submission of an abstract is not a guarantee of acceptance. Priority will be assigned on a first-come first-served basis. Poster submissions will be additionally judged based on content.

Registration for poster presenters

All poster presenters will have to register for the meeting and cover their own travel and lodging expenses.
